TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) in Cagayan Valley is exerting effort to help local government units in improving their stable waste control programs.

Cesar Siador, EMB Cagayan Valley nearby director, said at least 4 towns and three municipalities had been already warned by means of the environment ombudsman to enhance their open dumpsites and create a system in the right disposal in their day by day accrued strong wastes.

He said some 35 LGUs regionwide had been these days given the equal warnings to improve their stable waste control.

Meanwhile, Siador said the EMB provided economic help of P300,000 to some LGUs for the establishment of their Material Recovery Facility.
